The LTL Green Air Heater was initially funded with support from the Green Building Alliance Product Innovation Grant in 2009. The product research has since been developed into a low cost solar powered heating and cooling system. TASI is committed to “building the future with excellence in engineering.”
In our latest report with the Green Building Alliance, LTL (then TASI) identifies the potential impact the production of the Active Air Heater may have to the Pennsylvania economy. As TASI intends to further develop the Air Heater for commercialization with manufacturing facilities within the Commonwealth, the project would create jobs in manufacture, installation, sales, and support. The growth of green technology in Southwestern Pennsylvania has helped preserve the real estate market and continued development of the TASI Active Air Heater will enhance the growth of the Green Industry within Southwestern Pennsylvania.
The use of the LTL Green Air Heater should also qualify construction, development, and rehabilitation projects for Federal and State funding through various developments and housing programs such as:
LTL Green Air Heater can encourage developers and private homeowners to utilize green products. The TASI heater is a patented innovative design for electric resistance heating. With the success of beta test of 2800 hours, LTL intends to enter the next phase of product development, which will include developing a control system, unit housing, manufacturing process, and a diversified energy power supply sources. This phase will also include reliability and durability testing.
LTL Green Air Heater modules before assembly
LTL Green Air Heater;s assembled modules. This assembly was tested for 2800 hours in winter. The assembly still work normally. The exceptional durability of the product shows the excelence in low thermal stress design.
The Green HVAC system can be powered by solar energy. This advantage could potentially reduce the dependency to carbon based energy.
